Eligibility criteria include one or more of the following:

  1. Children must be between the ages of 0 and 5 years old. Children who turn age 5 by August 31 are not eligible, as they are age-eligible to attend kindergarten in public schools.
  2. Families must live within EOCF's service area.
  3. Priority is given to low-income families. You'll find the summary of income eligibility for the current program year here.
  4. Priority is given to children who turn 4 by August 31.
  5. Children with a documented disability are given priority, providing they meet income guidelines.

Please contact us to determine if your family is income eligible. Your family may be categorically income eligible if you are currently receiving Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

To qualify for full-day, full-year childcare:

A family must be eligible to receive a subsidy through the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) or pay full co-pay privately.
